Maggie MacDonnell

Maggie MacDonnell, a dedicated Canadian educator, has made significant strides in the field of teaching and development. Her remarkable contributions to education were recognized when she became the third recipient of the prestigious Global Teacher Prize. This accolade, awarded by the Varkey Foundation, comes with a substantial prize of one million dollars, highlighting her impact on the global educational landscape.

The award was presented to her by notable figures, including the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE, as well as Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.
