Magna Lykseth-Skogman

Magna Elvine Lykseth-Skogman, born on February sixth, eighteen seventy-four, was a distinguished operatic soprano who made her mark in both Norway and Sweden. She made her professional debut at the Royal Swedish Opera in nineteen oh one, captivating audiences with her portrayal of Santuzza in Mascagni's 'Cavalleria rusticana'. Her remarkable talent quickly earned her a place as the company's prima donna, a title she held until nineteen eighteen.

Throughout her illustrious career, Lykseth-Skogman showcased her versatility by performing leading roles across a diverse repertoire of operas. However, she is particularly celebrated for her Wagnerian interpretations.
