Mahua Moitra, born on January first, nineteen seventy-six, is a prominent Indian politician and former investment banker. She gained recognition for her dynamic and often controversial speeches in the Indian Parliament, where she represented the Trinamool Congress (TMC) party. Moitra first entered the Lok Sabha after winning the 2019 Indian general election from the Krishnanagar constituency, serving until her expulsion in December twenty twenty-three.
Before her political career, Moitra was an investment banker at JPMorgan Chase, where she honed her skills in finance and strategy.
