Maiken Caspersen Falla, born on August 13, 1990, is a distinguished former Norwegian cross-country skier renowned for her exceptional prowess in sprint and short-distance races. Her illustrious career is highlighted by her crowning achievement as the Olympic champion in the individual sprint at the 2014 Winter Olympics, where she also secured a total of three Olympic medals.
Falla's remarkable talent was further showcased at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, where she became the individual sprint World champion in 2017 and successfully defended her title in 2019.
