Malcolm IV of Scotland

Malcolm IV of Scotland, born on April twenty-third, eleven forty-one, ascended to the throne in eleven fifty-three, following the legacy of his grandfather, David I. As the eldest son of Henry, Earl of Huntingdon and Northumbria, and Ada de Warenne, Malcolm was steeped in the traditions of both Scottish and Anglo-Norman cultures.
