Malene Mortensen, born on May twenty-third, nineteen eighty-two, is a talented Danish singer and jazz musician who has made a significant impact on the music scene since her debut in two thousand one.

She first gained recognition during the inaugural season of 'Stjerne for en aften,' the Danish version of 'Star for a Night,' where her captivating performance of Moloko's 'Sing It Back' earned her a spot in the finals.

The following year, Mortensen showcased her musical prowess by participating in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, the national pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, further solidifying her presence in the Danish music industry.
