His journey began at Saint Francis School in Alpharetta, Georgia, where he distinguished himself as a four-star recruit.

Beasley made a significant impact during his freshman year at Florida State University, where he played for the Seminoles. He earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) honors, averaging fifteen point six points and five point three rebounds per game. His scoring prowess helped the Seminoles achieve a twenty and fourteen record, culminating in a berth in the NIT Tournament.
