Malik Tillman

Malik Tillman, born on May 28, 2002, is a talented association football player who currently plays as an attacking midfielder for Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen. His journey in professional soccer began in Germany, where he has also chosen to represent the United States national team.

Tillman's football career took off when he joined Bayern Munich's youth system in 2015, transitioning from Greuther Fürth. He made a significant impact by debuting for Bayern's first team in August 2021 after showcasing his skills with Bayern Munich II.

In July 2022, Tillman embarked on a loan spell with Scottish Premiership club Rangers, where he excelled and was honored with the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award for the 2022–23 season. His impressive performances continued as he moved on loan to Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven in August 2023, contributing to the team's league victory in the 2023–24 season. By May 2024, PSV Eindhoven made his transfer permanent, and he celebrated another league title in the 2024–25 season.

In July 2025, Tillman made headlines by signing a five-year contract with Bayer Leverkusen for a staggering forty-one million dollars. His international career is equally noteworthy, having represented both Germany and the United States at youth levels before making his senior debut for the United States in June 2022.
