Malky Mackay, born on February nineteenth, nineteen seventy-two, is a distinguished Scottish professional football coach and former player, currently serving as the sporting director at Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.
His playing career began in Scotland, where he showcased his defensive skills with Queen's Park and Celtic. In nineteen ninety-eight, Mackay made the move to England, joining Norwich City, where he spent six fruitful years. During his time at Norwich, he played a pivotal role in achieving consecutive promotions to the Premier League with West Ham United and Watford between two thousand four and two thousand six.
