Mani (musician)

Gary Mounfield, known to the world as Mani, was born on November sixteenth, nineteen sixty-two. He emerged as a prominent figure in the English rock scene, celebrated for his exceptional skills as a bassist, guitarist, and composer. His musical journey began with the iconic band the Stone Roses, where he joined in nineteen eighty-seven, contributing to their groundbreaking sound and playing on both of their acclaimed albums.

After the Stone Roses disbanded in nineteen ninety-six, Mani transitioned to Primal Scream, becoming their full-time bassist later that same year. His tenure with the band was marked by significant success, as he played on five consecutive albums, including the critically acclaimed Vanishing Point in nineteen ninety-seven and Beautiful Future in two thousand eight.

In two thousand eleven, Mani left Primal Scream to reunite with the Stone Roses, participating in their much-anticipated comeback. However, the band faced another breakup in two thousand seventeen, marking the end of an era for Mani and his fans.
