Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Manu Militari

Manu Militari, born on May 21, 1979, is a prominent francophone rapper and singer hailing from Quebec, Canada. His stage name, derived from the Latin phrase meaning 'By the force of arms,' reflects his powerful presence in the music industry.

In 2002, after an extensive tour that spanned India, Greece, and the Middle East, he made his mark with the release of his debut EP, 'Manu Drastic.' Following this, he founded the group Rime Organisé, which led to the release of the EP 'Règlements de comptes,' further establishing his reputation as a talented artist.

Militari's second solo album, 'Voix de fait,' released in 2006, garnered critical acclaim, earning nominations for 'Best Author Compositor' and 'Best Hip Hop Album' at Canada's prestigious Félix Awards. His 2009 album, 'Crime d'honneur,' achieved commercial success, selling approximately eight thousand copies.

In 2012, he stirred controversy with his single and music video 'L'Attente,' which depicted the perspective of an Afghan fighter and was accused of glorifying the Taliban. This led to public protests, particularly due to the fact that he had received one hundred ten thousand dollars in funding from MusicAction, a government-supported organization. Following the backlash, Militari withdrew the contentious music video on June 29, 2012.
