Manuel Preciado

Manuel Preciado, born on August 28, 1957, was a prominent figure in Spanish football, known for his dual role as a defender and a manager. His career spanned fifteen years, during which he made a significant impact primarily with Racing de Santander. Preciado's journey through the sport also included stints with five other clubs, predominantly in the lower leagues of Spanish football.

Transitioning from player to coach, Preciado returned to his roots at Racing de Santander but found his most notable success with Sporting de Gijón. Under his leadership, the team achieved promotion to La Liga in two thousand and eight, marking a high point in his managerial career.
