During his time at Aston Villa, Albrighton made a total of one hundred and one appearances, scoring nine goals. In two thousand thirteen, he had a loan spell at Wigan Athletic, which added to his growing experience in the competitive world of football.

In two thousand fourteen, after being released by Villa, Albrighton signed with Leicester City. His tenure at Leicester was marked by over three hundred appearances and a pivotal role in the club's most successful era.
