Marcelo Melo, born on September twenty-third, nineteen eighty-three, is a distinguished Brazilian professional tennis player renowned for his exceptional skills in doubles. He made history by becoming the only Brazilian to achieve the coveted world No. 1 ranking in the ATP doubles category on November second, two thousand fifteen.

As a two-time Grand Slam champion, Melo has left an indelible mark on the sport. He clinched his first title at the two thousand fifteen French Open, partnering with Ivan Dodig, and followed it up with a victory at the two thousand seventeen Wimbledon Championships alongside Łukasz Kubot. These triumphs not only highlight his prowess on the court but also establish him as the first Brazilian man to secure a Grand Slam doubles title.
