Marco Antonio Solís

Marco Antonio Solís, born on December twenty-ninth, nineteen fifty-nine, in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, is a celebrated Mexican musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. His musical journey began at the tender age of six, when he performed alongside his cousin Joel Solís as part of the duo Los Hermanitos Solís. This early start laid the foundation for a remarkable career in music.

In nineteen seventy-five, Solís co-founded the iconic band Los Bukis, where he took on the roles of lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist. The band enjoyed nearly two decades of immense success, captivating audiences with their unique sound. Following the band's split, Solís embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album, En Pleno Vuelo, in nineteen ninety-six under Fonovisa Records.

Throughout his illustrious career, Marco Antonio Solís has garnered numerous accolades, including five Latin Grammy Awards and two Lo Nuestro Awards. His contributions to music have also earned him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and an induction into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame.
