Marcus Haber, born on January 11, 1989, is a talented Canadian professional soccer player who currently plays as a striker for One Taguig in the Philippines Football League. His journey in football began in the youth academies of Vancouver Selects and FC Groningen, a prominent club in the Dutch Eredivisie.
In February 2009, Haber made his return to Canada, signing with the Vancouver Whitecaps. His career took a significant turn in January 2010 when he joined West Bromwich Albion in the English Championship for an undisclosed fee. Over the next year, he experienced various loan spells, playing for Exeter City, his former club Vancouver Whitecaps, and St Johnstone in the Scottish Premier League, where he later signed permanently in July 2011.
After a season with St Johnstone, Haber moved to League One club Stevenage, where he spent two years and also had a loan stint with Notts County. In July 2014, he signed with Crewe Alexandra, contributing to the team for two seasons. His career continued to flourish as he joined Dundee in the Scottish Premiership in October 2016, later spending part of the 2018–19 season on loan at Falkirk.
In January 2019, Haber made a significant move to Pacific FC in the newly established Canadian Premier League, and a year later, he transferred to Cavalry FC. His international career is equally impressive, having represented Canada at various youth levels and earning twenty-seven senior caps, scoring three goals. After a season with Visakha in the Cambodian Premier League, he joined Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, where he achieved remarkable success, netting seventy-four goals in seventy-one appearances and winning a domestic double in his second season.
In July 2024, Haber signed with Chonburi in the Thai League 2, spending the 2024–25 season on loan with Nongbua Pitchaya before making a permanent move to Bangkok in July 2025.
