Marcus Krüger

Marcus Krüger, born on May twenty-seventh, nineteen ninety, is a distinguished Swedish professional ice hockey centreman. Currently, he serves as the captain of Djurgårdens IF Hockey, competing in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). His leadership on the ice is complemented by a rich history of achievements in both domestic and international play.

Krüger's journey in professional ice hockey began when he was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fifth round, being the one hundred forty-ninth overall pick in the two thousand nine NHL entry draft. His tenure with the Blackhawks was marked by significant success, as he played a pivotal role in the team’s triumphs, securing two Stanley Cup championships in two thousand thirteen and two thousand fifteen.

Before making his mark in the NHL, Krüger honed his skills with Djurgårdens IF in the SHL, where he developed into a formidable player.
