Margaret MacMillan

Margaret MacMillan, born on December twenty-third, nineteen forty-three, is a distinguished Canadian historian and an emeritus professor at the University of Oxford. Her academic journey has seen her serve as the provost of Trinity College in Toronto and as a professor of history at both the University of Toronto and Ryerson University, now known as Toronto Metropolitan University.

Renowned for her expertise in the history of international relations, MacMillan has made significant contributions to the field through her research and teaching. Her insights into the complexities of global interactions have established her as a leading voice in historical discourse.

In two thousand eighteen, she gained further recognition as the Reith lecturer, delivering a series of five lectures worldwide under the theme of war, titled 'The Mark of Cain.'
