Marge Champion

Marge Champion, born on September second, nineteen nineteen, was a remarkable American dancer and actress whose career spanned several decades. At the tender age of fourteen, she caught the eye of Walt Disney Studios, where she was hired as a dance model for animated films, showcasing her exceptional talent from an early age.

Throughout her illustrious career, Champion graced the silver screen as both an actress and dancer in numerous film musicals. Her vibrant performances captivated audiences, and in nineteen fifty-seven, she took her talents to television, starring in a show that celebrated the art of song and dance.

In addition to her on-screen work, Champion made significant contributions to the world of choreography. She creatively crafted choreography for liturgical performances and lent her expertise as a dialogue and movement coach for the acclaimed nineteen seventy-eight TV miniseries, The Awakening Land, which depicted life in the late eighteenth century in the Ohio Valley.
