Margherita de' Medici, born on May thirty-first, sixteen twelve, was a prominent figure in the political landscape of her time. As the Duchess of Parma and Piacenza through her marriage to Odoardo Farnese, Duke of Parma, she played a crucial role in the governance of these territories.
