Maria Klawe

Maria Klawe, a distinguished Canadian-American computer scientist, has made significant contributions to academia and the promotion of women in STEM fields. Born in Toronto in nineteen fifty-one, she has dedicated her career to advancing engineering and applied sciences, culminating in her role as the fifth president of Harvey Mudd College from two thousand six to two thousand twenty-three.
