Marit Larsen, born on July first, nineteen eighty-three, is a celebrated Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her musical journey began at a young age when she started playing the violin at five, a passion she pursued until she turned eight. However, it was during her teenage years that she gained international recognition as part of the pop duo M2M, alongside her childhood friend Marion Raven.
After the duo's success, Marit embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut album, 'Under the Surface,' in two thousand six. This marked the beginning of her evolution as a solo artist, showcasing her unique sound and songwriting prowess.
In October two thousand eight, she followed up with her second album, 'The Chase,' which further solidified her presence in the music industry. Her third album, 'Spark,' was released on November eighteenth, two thousand eleven, in several countries including Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, with a subsequent release in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland on December sixteenth of the same year.
