Among his notable achievements, Mozetich composed compulsory competition pieces for prestigious events such as the 1992 Banff String Quartet Competition with his work 'Lament in the Trampled Garden' and the 1995 Montreal International Music Competition, where he presented 'L’esprit Chantant' for violin and piano.

A co-founder of Arraymusic in Toronto, he served as the artistic director from nineteen seventy-six to nineteen seventy-eight, significantly influencing the contemporary music scene. Following his tenure at Arraymusic, he worked at the University of Toronto music library before embarking on a successful career as a freelance composer.

In nineteen ninety-one, Mozetich relocated to Howe Island, near Kingston, Ontario, where he taught composition at Queen's University until two thousand ten.
