Mark Arm, born on February twenty-first, nineteen sixty-two, is a prominent American singer, guitarist, and composer, celebrated for his influential role in the grunge music scene. He is best known as the lead vocalist for the iconic band Mudhoney, which played a pivotal role in shaping the sound of the genre.
Before Mudhoney, Arm was a member of Green River, one of the earliest grunge bands, alongside notable acts such as Malfunkshun, Soundgarden, and Skin Yard. This group laid the groundwork for what would become a significant movement in rock music during the late eighties and early nineties.
