Mark Aronoff

Mark Aronoff, born on January ninth, nineteen forty-nine, is a prominent Canadian-American linguist renowned for his expertise in morphology. He has made significant contributions to the field of linguistics and is currently a distinguished professor at Stony Brook University.

Throughout his illustrious career, Aronoff served as the editor of the prestigious journal Language from nineteen ninety-five to two thousand one. His leadership in the linguistic community is further exemplified by his role as president of the Linguistic Society of America in two thousand five.
