Mark Gangloff

Mark Gangloff, born on June eighth, nineteen eighty-two, is a distinguished American swimmer renowned for his exceptional prowess in breaststroke. A former competitor for Auburn University, he made a significant mark in the world of swimming, particularly during the Olympic Games.

Gangloff's Olympic journey is highlighted by his remarkable achievements as a gold medalist in the 4x100 medley relay at both the Athens Olympics in two thousand four and the Beijing Olympics in two thousand eight. His contributions to the sport extend beyond his competitive accolades, as he has also held world and American records during his illustrious career.

After retiring from competitive swimming, Mark transitioned into coaching, sharing his expertise and passion for the sport. He has served as an Assistant Coach at Auburn University and has been involved in age group competition with SwimMAC Carolina. Additionally, he has contributed to the collegiate swimming scene as a coach for the University of Missouri Tigers and the University of North Carolina Tarheels.
