Mark Lamb

Mark Lamb, born on August third, nineteen sixty-four, in Ponteix, Saskatchewan, is a distinguished figure in the world of ice hockey. Growing up in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, he developed a passion for the sport that would lead him to a successful career as a professional player and coach.

As an ice hockey player, Lamb showcased his talents in the National Hockey League, representing several teams including the Calgary Flames, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, and Montreal Canadiens. His most notable achievement came in nineteen ninety when he won the prestigious Stanley Cup with the Edmonton Oilers. Additionally, he co-captained the Ottawa Senators during the nineteen ninety-three to ninety-four season, further solidifying his leadership in the sport.

Transitioning from player to coach, Lamb has made significant contributions to the game. He served as the head coach for the Tucson Roadrunners in the American Hockey League and the Swift Current Broncos in the Western Hockey League. Currently, he holds the position of general manager and head coach for the Prince George Cougars in the WHL, where he continues to influence the next generation of hockey players.

In addition to his NHL success, Lamb also claimed the Turner Cup in nineteen ninety-nine with the Houston Aeros in the International Hockey League, showcasing his versatility and skill across different leagues.
