Mark Stone, born on May 13, 1992, is a distinguished Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently serves as the captain and right winger for the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League (NHL). His journey in the NHL began when he was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the sixth round, being the one hundred seventy-eighth overall pick in the 2010 NHL entry draft.
During the 2014–15 season, Stone made a significant impact by tying Johnny Gaudreau for the lead in scoring among NHL rookies, amassing sixty-four points. His outstanding performance earned him a nomination for the prestigious Calder Memorial Trophy, awarded to the NHL's top rookie.
