Mark Volman, born on April nineteenth, nineteen forty-seven, is an iconic American singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He first gained prominence as a founding member of the celebrated 1960s rock band, The Turtles, where his musical talents helped shape the sound of a generation.

In the 1970s, Volman teamed up with his bandmate and close friend Howard Kaylan to form the rock duo Flo & Eddie. Under the playful pseudonym Flo, which is short for The Phlorescent Leech, Volman continued to explore his musical creativity and engage audiences with their unique sound.
