Mark Volman

Mark Volman, born on April nineteenth, nineteen forty-seven, is an iconic American singer, guitarist, and songwriter. He first gained prominence as a founding member of the celebrated 1960s rock band, The Turtles, where his musical talents helped shape the sound of a generation.

In the 1970s, Volman teamed up with his bandmate and close friend Howard Kaylan to form the rock duo Flo & Eddie. Under the playful pseudonym Flo, which is short for The Phlorescent Leech, Volman continued to explore his musical creativity and engage audiences with their unique sound.

Volman's career took another exciting turn when he joined Frank Zappa's band, The Mothers of Invention. This collaboration allowed him to further showcase his versatility as a musician and solidified his place in the annals of rock history.
