Marko Daňo

Marko Daňo, born on November thirtieth, nineteen ninety-four, is a talented ice hockey player hailing from Austria and representing Slovakia. Currently, he plays as a right winger for HC Oceláři Třinec in the Czech Extraliga (ELH). His journey in professional hockey began with a significant milestone when he was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the first round, being the twenty-seventh overall pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Daňo made his NHL debut in two thousand fourteen, marking the beginning of his career in one of the most competitive leagues in the world. Prior to his time in the NHL, he showcased his skills in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), where he played for Slovan Bratislava for two seasons, further honing his abilities on the ice.

Hockey runs in Daňo's blood, as his father, Jozef Daňo, was also a professional player. Jozef represented the Slovak national team at the Winter Olympics in nineteen ninety-four and nineteen ninety-eight, setting a legacy that Marko continues to build upon in his own career.
