Marko Grujić

Marko Grujić, born on April 13, 1996, in Belgrade, Serbia, is a talented professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for AEK Athens in the Super League Greece and represents the Serbia national team.

Grujić began his football journey with Red Star Belgrade, where he advanced through the youth ranks to join the first team. He made his professional debut in 2013 and enjoyed a successful stint, culminating in winning the SuperLiga title in his final season with the club.

In a significant career move, Grujić transferred to Liverpool for a fee of five point one million pounds. After five years with the Premier League side, he made a switch to Porto in Portugal for just over ten million pounds in 2021, furthering his professional development.

On the international stage, Grujić has been a key player for Serbia, representing his country at every youth level from under-16 upwards. He made his full international debut in May 2016 and was part of the Serbian squad that triumphed in the 2015 U-20 World Cup.
