Markus Granlund

Markus Granlund, born on April 16, 1993, is a talented Finnish professional ice hockey forward currently showcasing his skills with Genève-Servette HC in the National League (NL). His journey in the world of ice hockey began with a significant milestone when he was selected as the second-round pick, 45th overall, by the Calgary Flames during the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Before making his mark in North America, Granlund honed his craft in the SM-liiga, where he played two seasons for HIFK. His transition to the Flames organization in 2013 marked a pivotal moment in his career, allowing him to compete at a higher level and further develop his game.
