Markus Thormeyer, born on August 25, 1997, is a distinguished Canadian swimmer renowned for his prowess in freestyle and backstroke events. Hailing from Delta, he made a significant move in 2015 to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he dedicated himself to training at the High Performance Centre-Vancouver after completing his high school education.
In addition to his athletic commitments, Thormeyer pursued academic excellence by enrolling at the University of British Columbia.
