Marleen Veldhuis

Marleen Veldhuis, born on June twenty-ninth, nineteen seventy-nine, is a distinguished retired swimmer and water polo player from the Netherlands. Throughout her illustrious career, she established herself as a formidable athlete, holding world records in six events, which included three individual and three relay events.

Her remarkable achievements in the pool are highlighted by an impressive collection of medals. Veldhuis secured eight gold medals at the World Championships and an astounding twenty gold medals at the European Championships, showcasing her dominance in the sport.
