Maroun Elias Nimeh Lahham

Maroun Elias Nimeh Lahham, born on July twentieth, nineteen forty-eight, is a distinguished Jordanian Catholic prelate whose contributions to the Church have been significant and impactful. He began his ecclesiastical journey as a university teacher and later embraced the calling of a Catholic priest, ultimately rising to the esteemed position of bishop.

From two thousand five to two thousand ten, Lahham served as the first Bishop of Tunis, where he laid the groundwork for a vibrant Catholic community. His leadership was marked by a commitment to fostering interfaith dialogue and promoting the values of compassion and understanding.
