Martin Jørgensen

Martin Jørgensen, born on October sixth, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished Danish former professional footballer who has transitioned into a scouting role for AGF. His career began as a full-back, but he later found his niche in midfield, showcasing his versatility on the pitch.

Over a remarkable two-decade playing career, Jørgensen represented AGF in Denmark, as well as prestigious Italian clubs Udinese and Fiorentina. His contributions to the game were significant, earning him one hundred and two caps and twelve goals for the Denmark national team.

Jørgensen's international career was highlighted by his participation in three FIFA World Cups and two European Championships. Following Denmark's exit from the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, he announced his retirement from international football, with his farewell match taking place in November of that year. However, he made a notable return to the national team for a Euro 2012 qualifier against Norway on September sixth, two thousand eleven.
