Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget, born on April 1, 1992, is a distinguished Norwegian cross-country skier known for his competitive spirit and remarkable achievements in the sport.
His journey in cross-country skiing began to gain recognition at the Junior World Championships, where he showcased his talent by competing in four events in 2012, culminating in a bronze medal in the relay. His performance continued to improve, as he secured two sixth-place finishes at the 2014 Junior World Championships and a commendable fifth place at the 2015 edition.
Making his mark on the international stage, Martin made his World Cup debut in March 2014 during the prestigious Holmenkollen 50 km race. His breakthrough moment came in March 2015 when he astonished fans with a fourth-place finish in Lahti, earning his first World Cup points. He further solidified his status as a top competitor by breaking into the top ten again in February 2016, once more in Lahti.
