Martin Pfister

Martin Pfister, born on July thirty-first, nineteen sixty-three, is a prominent Swiss historian and politician affiliated with the Centre party. Since two thousand twenty-five, he has held the esteemed position of Federal Councillor, where he leads the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport.

Before his current role, Pfister made significant contributions as a Regierungsrat, or Cantonal Minister, in Zug from two thousand sixteen to two thousand twenty-five. During this time, he was responsible for overseeing the health department, demonstrating his commitment to public service and community well-being.
