Martin Reim, born on May fourteenth, nineteen seventy-one, is a distinguished Estonian football manager and former professional player. He is celebrated for his extensive career as a central midfielder, primarily with FC Flora, where he achieved remarkable success by securing seven Meistriliiga titles.

Reim holds the record as the most capped player for the Estonia national football team, with one hundred fifty-seven appearances. His remarkable achievement of being the most capped European international player lasted from August two thousand seven until December two thousand nine, when he was surpassed by Latvia's Vitālijs Astafjevs. Notably, he is also recognized as the most capped player who has never participated in a major tournament.

In recognition of his contributions to Estonian football, Reim was honored as the Estonian Footballer of the Year in nineteen ninety-five and received the Estonian Silverball award three times, in nineteen ninety-five, nineteen ninety-seven, and nineteen ninety-nine. His dedication to the sport was further acknowledged in two thousand eleven when he was awarded the Order of the White Star for his services to Estonia.

Beyond his playing career, Reim has made significant contributions to the development of football in Estonia. In two thousand seven, he established the Martin Reimi Jalgpallikool, a football academy aimed at nurturing young talent. The academy team, Viimsi MRJK, later merged with the Esiliiga B club HÜJK Emmaste in two thousand sixteen, evolving into Viimsi JK.
