Martín Vizcarra

Martín Vizcarra, born on March 22, 1963, is a notable Peruvian civil engineer and politician who held the presidency of Peru from 2018 to 2020. His political journey began as the Governor of the Department of Moquegua from 2011 to 2014, followed by his role as First Vice President of Peru under President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski from 2016 to 2018. Vizcarra also served as Minister of Transport and Communications and as Ambassador to Canada during Kuczynski's administration.
