Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Marwan Issa

Marwan Issa, born in the Bureij refugee camp in the Gaza Strip in nineteen sixty-five, emerged as a prominent Palestinian militant and military leader. He was educated at the Islamic University of Gaza, where he also showcased his athletic talent by playing basketball for the Al-Bureij Services Club.

Issa's involvement with Hamas began early, leading to his arrest in nineteen eighty-seven during the First Intifada. His political activities continued to draw attention, resulting in his detention by the Palestinian Authority from nineteen ninety-seven until two thousand, after which he was released amid the outbreak of the Second Intifada.

As he rose through the ranks, Issa became the head of the Qassam Brigades in the central Gaza Strip refugee camps, playing a pivotal role in the development of the military wing's systems. Reporting directly to Mohammed Deif, he was instrumental in orchestrating various military operations, including a significant role in planning the October seventh attacks.

His activities led to his designation on the terror watchlist by the United States in two thousand nineteen and the European Union in two thousand twenty-three. Tragically, Marwan Issa's life came to an end on March tenth, two thousand twenty-four, when he was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Nuseirat during the ongoing Gaza War.
