Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Mary Jane Kelly

Mary Jane Kelly, born around 1863, is often remembered as the last victim of the infamous Jack the Ripper, a serial killer who terrorized London in the late 1880s. Known by various names including Marie Jeanette Kelly, Fair Emma, Ginger, Dark Mary, and Black Mary, she lived a life marked by hardship and poverty, working as a prostitute in the Whitechapel and Spitalfields districts.

On the fateful night of November 9, 1888, Kelly was brutally murdered in her rented room at 13 Miller's Court. Unlike the other victims of the Ripper, who were killed outdoors, Kelly's murder took place in the confines of her sparsely furnished living space. This allowed her assailant a significant amount of time to inflict extensive and horrific mutilations upon her body.

At the time of her death, Kelly was approximately twenty-five years old. The gruesome nature of her murder set her apart from the other canonical victims, as it is believed that the perpetrator spent nearly two hours eviscerating her. The brutality of her death has left a lasting mark on the history of crime in London, making her one of the most infamous figures associated with the Ripper case.
