Mary Pierce

Mary Pierce, born on January 15, 1975, is a distinguished former professional tennis player from France. Renowned for her powerful game, she achieved a remarkable career-high ranking of world No. 3 in both singles and doubles, as recognized by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).

Throughout her illustrious career, Pierce secured a total of eighteen singles titles on the WTA Tour, including two prestigious Grand Slam victories at the 1995 Australian Open and the 2000 French Open. In addition to her major wins, she triumphed in five Tier I singles events and reached the finals of four additional Grand Slam tournaments, showcasing her consistent performance at the highest level.

In doubles, Pierce also made her mark, winning ten titles on the WTA Tour. She claimed two major titles, partnering with Martina Hingis to win the women's doubles at the 2000 French Open and later achieving mixed doubles success at the 2005 Wimbledon Championships alongside Mahesh Bhupathi. Her prowess in doubles was further highlighted by her runner-up finish at the 2000 Australian Open.
