Lusha's career took a significant turn as she transitioned into film, starring in Sony Pictures’ Blood: The Last Vampire and later appearing in the SyFy television movie Sharknado: The 4th Awakens alongside notable actors David Hasselhoff and Ian Ziering.

Her acting journey began in two thousand one with her debut in the film Summoning, followed by her television debut in the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire. Lusha became a main cast member in Clifford's Puppy Days from two thousand three to two thousand five on PBS and made guest appearances in popular series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Anger Management.
