Hailing from a prominent Indian film family, she was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her lineage includes her grandfather Parananand, a pioneering distributor, and her mother Jayshree, along with her uncle Gul Anand, both of whom are well-known producers associated with films like Chashme Buddoor and Khatta Meetha.
Masumeh began her career as a child artist, showcasing her talent in commercials and television shows such as Thoda Hai Thoda Ki Zaroorat Hai and Banegi Apni Baat.
