Mateja Kežman

Mateja Kežman, born on April twelfth, nineteen seventy-nine, is a distinguished Serbian sports agent and former professional footballer renowned for his prowess as a striker. His football journey began in his homeland, but he soon made a name for himself in top-flight leagues across the Netherlands, England, Spain, Turkey, France, Russia, Hong Kong, and Belarus.

Kežman is perhaps best remembered for his remarkable tenure at PSV Eindhoven, where he garnered numerous accolades and gained international acclaim, being recognized as one of the most promising strikers of his generation. His exceptional talent was highlighted when he was named Dutch Footballer of the Year in two thousand three. However, his subsequent move to Chelsea was met with high expectations, and he faced criticism as he struggled to replicate his previous success, leading to his label as a flop.

Throughout his illustrious career, Kežman achieved a record number of championship medals in the top-tier competitions of five different countries. On the international stage, he represented FR Yugoslavia and later Serbia and Montenegro, participating in one European Championship and one World Cup.

After retiring from professional football, Kežman transitioned into a successful career as a sports agent, currently representing notable players such as Sergej Milinković-Savić. In two thousand thirteen, he also took on the role of director of football at Vojvodina, further showcasing his commitment to the sport.
