Mateo Musacchio

Mateo Musacchio, born on August 26, 1990, is a former professional footballer from Argentina, renowned for his role as a central defender. His career spanned over fifteen years, during which he made significant contributions to several clubs, most notably Villarreal.

Musacchio joined Villarreal at the young age of nineteen, where he would go on to establish himself as a key player. Over seven seasons in La Liga, he made a remarkable two hundred and forty-nine competitive appearances and netted seven goals, showcasing his defensive prowess and occasional offensive contributions.

In 2017, he took a new step in his career by signing with AC Milan, further enhancing his experience in European football. After four successful years with the Rossoneri, he transitioned to Lazio, continuing to compete at a high level in the Italian Serie A.
