In 2007, Jarvis caught the attention of larger clubs and signed with Wolverhampton Wanderers, a Football League Championship team. His impact was immediate, as he became a first-team regular and played a pivotal role in helping the club secure promotion to the Premier League in 2009.

Following his successful stint at Wolves, Jarvis made a significant move to West Ham United in 2012 for an undisclosed club record fee. His career continued to evolve as he joined Norwich City on loan in September 2015, a move that became permanent in January 2016. He spent three additional years with the Canaries, including a brief loan spell at Walsall in 2019, before concluding his playing career with Woking in May 2021.
