Matthew Henry Richey

In eighteen seventy-eight, he was elected to the Parliament of Canada, where he contributed to national discussions and policies. His political journey culminated in eighteen eighty-three when he was appointed as the fifth Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, a prestigious role he held until eighteen eighty-eight.
