Matthew Morison

Matthew Morison, born on April ninth, nineteen eighty-seven, is a talented Canadian amateur snowboarder who has made a name for himself in the competitive world of snowboarding. Residing in Kamloops, British Columbia, he hails from Burketon, Ontario, where he began his snowboarding journey at the Oshawa Ski Club at a young age. By the time he was eleven, Morison was already showcasing his skills by outperforming senior men in races, a testament to his early talent and dedication.

Morison's competitive spirit led him to qualify for the prestigious 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver, British Columbia. He specializes in alpine disciplines, particularly parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom, where he has demonstrated remarkable prowess. His educational background includes attending Courtice Secondary School, which laid the foundation for his athletic career.

In addition to his competitive achievements, Morison gained recognition through his appearances on MTV Canada. He was featured in the series 'Summer Sessions' alongside fellow national riders such as Jasey-Jay Anderson and Michael Lambert.
